Goddess Tara maintains the second position among all the ten significant Dus Mahavidya’s. In tantra sadhna of Dus Mahavidya sadhaks consider ma tara to give immediate results to obtain knowledge, wisdom, power of speech, pleasure and salvation. Ma Tara Jayanti puja evokes innumerable advantages for all round prosperity, expansion of business, name and fame, destruction of enemies etc.

Tara is worshipped in the form of neel saraswati to protect individual from akaal mrityu and from any eventuality . This puja is said to bestow health, Shield from danger, injury, destruction, or damage. It is acclaimed to be helpful in protecting a person in death like stuation , therefore known as ma mrit sanjeevani.
