Tantrik Diwali Puja
Tantrik Diwali puja is a worship and praise of Mahalaxmi and Lord Ganesha in a tantra method. We show respect towards Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity and Lord Ganesha. Tantrik Kali Puja on Diwali - Kartik Amavasya
Tantrik Kali Puja is carried out on the night of Kartik Amavasya, which falls in October/November. Tantrik puja is an acute invocation to the goddess kali. The main purpose of this tantrik puja is to seek the help of the Ma kali in demolishing immorality. Specific Kali Puja by tantra method is done to remove ego and negativeness that hamper spiritual and material growth.
Kali, also called Shyama Kali, is the first of the 10 avatars (incarnations) of Durga. Kali Puja is performed through tantrik rituals essentially to seek protection against evil and enemies and for general happiness, health, wealth, and peace. It is a tantrik puja and performed only at midnight on Amavasya in October/November. Narak Chaturdasi is celebrated on the 14th day of the dark half of Ashwin month, It is also known as Kali Chaudas. Kali means Dark (evil) and Chaudas - Fourteenth. Kali Chaudas is the day allotted for the worship of Maha-Kali or Shakti. Those who are into tantra, learn their 'mantras' on this day. The rituals of Kali Choudas was originated much before the origin of diwali as a puja to kuldevi of the individual families, villagers, as the local goddess to whom the people carried out their puja rituals and offered prasadam in order to protect themselves from evil spirits. Some families also offer food to their forefathers on this day. House are lit with oil lamps during the evening.This is the second day before Diwali and is also celebrated as Chhoti Diwali or small Diwali. Lights are lit in smaller numbers and fewer crackers burst. Colored rangoli are drawn in the doorway and courtyard. Special rituals are offered to Goddess Lakshmi and also to Rama in the evening.
