Each room in a house is dedicated to a specific function so for the purpose of puja and meditation we should have a conducive atmosphere. The pooja room in our house should be planned according to Vastu Shashtra, because it is the place where we meditate and worship. Having the right environment helps sacred thoughts and sound vibrations pervade the place and influence the minds of those who spend time there. Spiritual thoughts and vibrations accumulated through regular puja, worship and mantra japa done there pervade the prayer room. Therefore even when we spend our time just sitting in the puja room for a while, we feel calm, rejuvenated and spiritually uplifted.

Pooja room in your house or flat must be in the north east, north or east side. Even in the room selected for puja the idol should be placed on north east, north or east side. Before placing the idol you should ascertain the room should be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and purified. To prevent negative energies entering your puja room, appropriate mantra japa which you can get by contacting us and certain kriya’s should be done on amavasya night which will act as a protective shield during navratri.
