Navratri festival is celebrated five times a year. They are Magh Navaratri, Vasant Navratri, Ashad Navratri, Shardiya or Ashwin Navaratri, and Shakambari Navratri. Of these, the Shardiya Navratri and the Vasant Navaratri of the Chaitra are very important. The other two Navratri are known as gupt Navratri meant for sadhaks. It is said in Agni Purana that the Chaitra and Ashwin are like the two jaws of Lord Yama. By worshipping on this two Navratri one is protected from the disfavor of Yama. Ashwin Navratri also known as sharad or Durga Navratri has the potency to protect the individual from negative forces and propitiate Shakti to bestow upon us wealth, prosperity, knowledge both sacred and secular, and other required positive energies.

Shardiya Navratri Puja in 2023?

Navratri 2023 October, Nine days of mother divine festival dedicated to Goddess Kali of das maha vidya will be from 15th Oct to 24th Oct 2023. Vamtantra conducts Ashwin Navratri puja from pratipada to dasami shukla paksha in ashwin masa(Sep – October 2023). 2023 Dussehra Date – Tantrik Dashami Puja

On Ashwin Navratri Maha Dasami Puja is conducted by vamtantra as special vijya dasami tantrik puja in which continuous recitals, Akhand Paath, or Shree Navaha Parayana of the Shri Ramacharitamanas is done. Dashami/dussehra 2023 date is 24th October. On the Vijaya Dasami, Kanya Puja for a minimum of nine girls below the age of ten is done as a personification of Goddess Durga.
